By default your service is only crawlable — agents can discover it, but no one can call it through the gateway. If you provide a master API key or a provisioning endpoint below, agents can call your service through AgentDNS's unified auth. This is what upgrades your listing to Provider-enrolled status: it means you enrolled us knowingly, not that we quietly signed up with our own card, so it also moves your catalog entry into our green (lowest-friction) ToS tier.

Before any credential is used for a real call, we verify you actually control this domain: after submitting, you'll get a token to publish at /.well-known/agentdns-verify.txt. Nothing is activated until that check passes.
